Heemin Son continues a sculptural practice centered on the origins and evolution of life, using synthetic resin and casting replication techniques. In the artist’s view, biology is a ‘scenario of life’ built on hypotheses and assumptions, and living organisms are "sculptures of life" on Earth. Basedon this concept, Son creates fictional specimens and fossils.
